The 360-degree view provides added safety and convenience. It uses four cameras (front, rear and both sides) to offer a variety of views, including 3D view for safe starts and top view for safer parking.
*The 360 view camera does have some blind spots and is not a replacement for safe driving. Please do not rely on this system alone. Always drive safely.
If Electronic Stability Programme (ESP®) detects wheel slippage when the driver turns the steering wheel sharply and/or the road is slippery, for example, it automatically adjusts the engine torque and brakes to suppress the wheel slippage and help the driver stay in directional control.
A hill hold control function makes hill start easier by preventing the car from rolling backward for up to two seconds when the driver moves his or her foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal.
On tricky descents, the system is designed to automatically apply the brakes and maintain a fixed speed so you can concentrate on steering without using the brake pedal.

The structure of the Grand Vitara’s bonnet, front windscreen wiper area, front bumper and other parts absorb impacts, with the aim of mitigating head and leg injuries in the event of a collision with a pedestrian.
The six airbags – dual front airbags, side airbags and curtain airbags help protect the driver and passenger in the event of a collision.
